We are seeking an experienced, strategic, and results-driven Community Engagement Officer to lead and oversee all marketing functions at Nidus Aquilae Hospital. This is a pivotal leadership role responsible for building the hospital’s brand, promoting its health services and packages, attracting patients and partners, and managing end-to-end marketing campaigns across traditional and digital channels.
The ideal candidate understands the unique dynamics of healthcare marketing, including patient trust, regulatory sensitivity, and community engagement; and can translate these into compelling brand narratives and growth-focused campaigns.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
What You Will Do
- Develop, implement, and oversee a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with the hospital’s mission, growth targets, and service offerings.
- Plan, execute, and manage multi-channel marketing campaigns to promote hospital services, health packages, wellness programmes, and special initiatives.
- Lead brand positioning efforts to build awareness, trust, and a strong institutional identity for Nidus Aquilae Hospital across all audiences.
- Oversee digital marketing activities including social media management, email marketing, SEO, and paid advertising campaigns.
- Create and manage high-quality marketing content written materials, graphics, videos, and campaign assets; across print and digital platforms.
- Manage and grow the hospital’s online presence including the website, social media profiles (Instagram, Facebook, X, LinkedIn), and Google Business listings.
- Coordinate and promote health fairs, community outreach programmes, corporate wellness events, and seasonal health campaigns.
- Liaise with clinical departments, senior management, and external stakeholders to develop accurate, patient-friendly health communications and service promotions.
- Monitor, analyse, and report on marketing performance metrics, including patient acquisition, campaign ROI, digital engagement, and brand sentiment.
- Manage relationships with external vendors, creative agencies, media partners, and printers where applicable.
- Oversee the marketing department’s budget, ensuring cost-effective allocation of resources across all campaigns and initiatives.
- Supervise and mentor junior marketing staff or volunteers, providing guidance, feedback, and professional development support.
- Ensure all marketing materials comply with healthcare regulatory standards and maintain sensitivity to patient confidentiality.
- Stay current with healthcare industry trends, competitor activity, and digital marketing innovations to keep the hospital’s brand competitive.
REQUIREMENTS
What We Are Looking For
- Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Mass Communication, Business Administration, Public Health, or a related field; a Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g. CIM, NIMN) is an added advantage.
- Minimum of 3–5 years of progressive marketing experience, with at least 1–2 years in a managerial or supervisory capacity.
- Demonstrated experience in healthcare, hospital, pharmaceutical, or health-adjacent marketing is strongly preferred.
- Proven track record of successfully planning and executing marketing campaigns from concept to completion.
- Strong understanding of digital marketing channels including social media, SEO/SEM, email marketing, and content marketing.
- Experience managing marketing budgets and delivering measurable campaign results within set targets.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to translate complex health information into clear, engaging messaging.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and deadlines simultaneously.
- Proficiency in graphic design, content creation, and digital tools; ability to produce or direct the production of quality marketing assets.
- Sound understanding of data analytics and performance tracking tools (e.g. Google Analytics, Meta Insights, HubSpot).
- High level of professionalism, integrity, and discretion, particularly regarding patient-related communications and sensitive health topics.
- Must be able to work onsite at Nidus Aquilae Hospital; ability to occasionally attend outreach events outside of standard hours.
