Dear Child Scholars Donor,
This month’s newsletter was already outlined. We were going to take you through recent student milestones; their improved test scores, completed workshops, new scholarships. It was going to be packed with numbers and updates, until something beautiful happened.
Some of the children we serve decided to interrupt us. And we are so glad they did.
Without prompting, they handed us notes; short, sincere, wide-eyed messages straight from the soul. In a world saturated with information, their simplicity stopped us in our tracks.
So today, rather than simply reporting on their progress, we are letting their words do the work. We have titled this edition:
Love Letters from the Heart
Because that is exactly what they are.
These children didn’t just say thank you; they showed us why we do this, why you give and why this cause matters.
“Thank you so much Ma’am for giving me the opportunity to be one of your scholarship recipients for my schooling. My parents are separated, and I’m grateful that I was able to enroll in an Adventist school. More power to your foundation, and God bless!”
— Isabel, 1st grader 🇵🇭
“Being a child scholar, I’ve been able to continue my education without worrying about my financial struggles, which helps me to focus more on my academics rather than on money crisis. This is more than just assistance for me; it’s hope. This hope serves as a ladder for me to achieve my dreams in life, which is becoming a successful Certified Public Accountant. I’m truly grateful, and I feel blessed that I’m one of the child scholars of this program. I hope more people will be inspired to support Child Scholars because they help change perspectives in life, showing that financial struggles are not a big wall that blocks you from achieving your dreams, just like it changed mine.”
— Enriquita 🇵🇭
“Child Scholars,
Thank you for helping me go to school. I love learning how to read and write. My teacher is nice, and I have new friends. I like to draw and color too!
I am happy because of you.”

“Dear Child Scholars,
First of all, I am thankful to God because Child Scholars has been an instrument in supporting my studies and ministry. When I was a working student, I prayed that someone would sponsor my allowance and ministry, and I am very grateful to God because He answered my prayers. Child Scholars has made a big impact on my studies and has helped me finish my education. Thank you very much, Child Scholars. I hope you can help many more people. God bless you!”

Because of your support, I can go to class every day, learn exciting things, and even eat lunch with my classmates. You make me feel special.”

“Dear Child Scholars,
I am very grateful for the opportunity to attend Veritas Academy. Your support means so much to me and my family. I used to worry about not going to school, but now I come every day with joy in my heart.
My favorite subject is English. I want to become a teacher so I can help children, just like you helped me.”

These are not just messages. They are mirrors. Reflections of the impact your kindness makes possible every single day.
Thank you for giving these young minds something to write about; for being a reason they can hope, learn, and dream.
And thank you to Kailana Burden and Progress Edward, who helped gather these unexpected but deeply moving “interruptions.” We keep
Inspiring hope, changing lives!
Warm regards,
