As 2025 draws to a close, one word captures our journey this year: fruitful.
It started from classrooms to clinics, dormitories and then to dinner tables. Child Scholars has been deeply immersed, neck deep, truly; in the work of purpose. Through your generosity and faithful partnership, hope found expression in tangible ways: students remained in school by sustained sponsorship, meals were served with dignity, safe shelter was provided, medical lives were preserved through timely care, teachers were equipped and encouraged, and relief reached families right when it mattered most.
Across every initiative we supported in 2025, we witnessed more than impact; we witnessed transformation. We remain humbled and thankful that you chose to walk this journey with us, helping us steward compassion, hope, and God’s love to those we serve.
Here are a few moments that beautifully crowned the year:
A Major Milestone: Now Officially Established in Nigeria
Child Scholars has received final approval from the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) in Nigeria. We are now fully registered as a corporate body under the name Child Scholars Education and Health Initiative.
This milestone strengthens our foundation for long-term impact and accountability on the ground. We have since proceeded to open a corporate account and will share the full details upon completion. This step marks a significant leap forward in our commitment to expanding and sustaining our work across Nigeria.
Veritas Academy: A Christmas to Remember
Veritas Academy wrapped up the year with a heartwarming Christmas celebration. Students with outstanding academic performance were rewarded with prize gifts, while parents, expecting nothing, were surprised with thoughtful Christmas packages. The joy was contagious. One parent summed it up perfectly: “This is the best Christmas party ever!”
Moments like this remind us that dignity, celebration, and community are as powerful as textbooks and classrooms.
Nidus Aquilae Hospital: Prepared to Save Lives
At Nidus Aquilae Hospital, 2025 ended with growth in capacity and confidence. Doctors and nurses underwent intensive Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS) and Basic Life Support (BLS) training: a three-day, hands-on, highly practical session conducted within the hospital. From simulations to exams, participants testified to how equipped and ready they now feel for emergency situations. Certificates were issued, skills sharpened, and gratitude extended to Dr. Emmanuel Okenye for making this life-saving training possible.

We are not slowing down; far from it! Come 2026, we are looking ahead to:
More medical outreaches and project funding at Nidus Aquilae Hospital.
Vocational training partnerships, including an exciting collaboration with Voice Over Academy.
Expanded scholarship opportunities, reaching beyond borders to other African countries.
And even more intentional, life-shaping interventions across education and healthcare.
