Dear Child Scholars Donor,
As promised, we are back with your monthly update, stoked to share the incredible strides Child Scholars is making thanks to your support. September marks a special time for students across the globe, but for us, it is the beginning of a new academic year filled with fresh starts and boundless opportunities.
This month, we take you to Veritas School, where our children returned after a long break, full of joy and energy. During resumption week, our social media team captured those special back-to-school moments, and we are happy to share some videos with you! Under our “Highlight Back-to-School Programs” section, you will see the activities we have organized to prepare our students for the year ahead and witness the pure joy on their faces as they talk about their return to school.
Back to School: Empowering Education
As the new school year begins, we have been working to ensure every child has the resources to succeed. Here’s a quick update:
Educational Supplies: From notebooks to uniforms, our back-to-school initiative ensured that no student started this year unprepared. Every child is equipped to hit the ground running.
Teacher Readiness: Our dedicated teachers underwent refresher programs to continue delivering top-notch education to our students.

How did you first hear about Child Scholars?
I first heard about Child Scholars from my wife. We were looking for an organization that helped children but especially one where the funds we donated went to the kids instead of to the administration cost.
What inspired you to become a sponsor?
I was inspired to become a sponsor of Child Scholars because of the goals to educate children who would otherwise have little to no opportunities.
Which aspect of Child Scholars’ work resonates with you the most?
The aspect of Child Scholars work that resonates with me the most is that Child Scholars staff (in the U.S) are unpaid so the money I donate goes directly to help in-need children. I also like that they are located in countries where even a small amount of US dollars goes a long way!
What motivates you to continue supporting Child Scholars year after year?
I am motivated to support Child Scholars year after year because I believe that even one child’s life changed for the better is worth donating my resources to.
